Colten Montgomery’s Lone Howl gains a shiny metal flake flair and returns for a third helping in the form of Lone Howl 3. The triad of wolves pictured on this design pay tribute to the original version released back in 2019 This is the first ever PD released in Discmanias new metal flake plastic and it did not disappoint! Flat and durable with grippy C-Line plastic to give it that extra “bite”.
Compared to the current reinvented runs of PD produced so far, the Lone Howl sits happily in the middle between C-Line and the recent straighter flying Nordic Phenom.
The Discmania PD (Power Driver) is a fast and stable driver that handles wind well. The PD has a good glide and is useful for sidearm throws, stable power shots, and long flex shots for experienced players. This disc offers longer and straighter shots with a reliable low speed fade. The Shryke is an easy to throw, very long range driver for a wide variety of players. A mild high speed turn puts the Shryke in glide mode, which along with its high aerodynamic speed, give it incredible distance. The low speed fade is also mild, which makes it easy to keep on the fairway. The Shryke is similar to Innova’s popular Tern but faster and slightly more high speed stable.
